Private garden venue hire for weddings of up to 40 guests.
We offer couples exclusive use of our five-acre country garden for a small, relaxed wedding surrounded by seasonal flowers, birdsong and rural views.
You may choose a garden ceremony followed by photographs, or remain a little longer for drinks, canapés, cake and conversation. We host only a small number of weddings during the garden season, generally from October to April.
A Private Garden Setting
We can hold ceremonies in several areas of the garden, with the most suitable setting chosen according to the season, weather and light.
If the weather proves uncooperative, the Atelier Florale provides a characterful indoor ceremony alternative for up to 40 guests.
During your booking, the garden is exclusively yours to enjoy with your guests.

Garden Ceremony & Drinks Reception
For couples who want to celebrate their marriage with a relaxed garden reception after the ceremony.
A typical afternoon might unfold as:
Guest arrival → garden ceremony → drinks reception with canapés or light finger food → photographs → cake and speeches → relaxed departure

Founding venue hire
- Up to 25 guests: $1,500
- 26–40 guests: $2,000
These are venue-hire prices. You arrange your own celebrant, photographer, seating, refreshments and any ready-to-serve catering.
We are offering our founding rates for the first three confirmed weddings. In return, we ask couples to allow us to share a small selection of their professional wedding photographs, with the photographer’s permission, and to provide a brief review afterwards. Full conditions are provided before booking.

We do not have a commercial kitchen, but we can accommodate an experienced caterer who brings food ready to serve or operates from a self-contained mobile setup.
As an owner-hosted venue, we will be onsite to help your celebration run smoothly so you can relax and enjoy your special day.
Our current wedding packages are intended for ceremonies and relaxed garden gatherings rather than seated receptions, DJs, dancing or late-night parties.
Wedding Photography at Oasis Cottage
If you are marrying elsewhere, you are welcome to enquire about using the garden for your wedding photographs.
We offer photography bookings on selected dates for you, your wedding party and photographer, with access to a range of seasonal garden settings.
Up to 90 minutes, from $250.
Photography bookings do not include a ceremony or reception. We will confirm the access arrangements and available areas of the garden with you before booking.
Wedding Flowers Grown at Oasis Cottage
As a qualified florist, I can create bridal bouquets, bridesmaids’ posies, buttonholes and considered floral details for couples marrying at Oasis Cottage.
Every flower I use is grown here in the garden, so each design reflects what is at its best in the season of your wedding.
My wedding floristry focuses on personal flowers and smaller floral details. If your plans call for extensive installations or full-scale venue styling, I can recommend a trusted florist who specialises in large-scale wedding work.
Wedding flowers are quoted separately and are subject to seasonal availability.

Q: How many guests can we have?
A: We can host weddings of up to 40 guests.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We can move the ceremony into the Atelier Florale, which accommodates up to 40 guests. The precise layout will depend on your guest numbers and requirements.
Q: Can we bring our own food?
A: Yes. You may bring in catered food that is fully prepared and ready to serve. We do not have kitchen or food-preparation facilities, so you or your caterer will need to supply any crockery, cutlery, glassware and serving equipment required.
Q: Can we bring our own drinks?
A: Yes. Couple-supplied drinks may be brought on site by prior agreement. We do not sell alcohol or provide bar service, and all arrangements must comply with any applicable licensing requirements.
Q: Are chairs included?
A: No. We do not currently own wedding chairs, but you may hire them. Delivery, setup and collection arrangements must be agreed with us before the wedding.
Q: Are music and microphones permitted?
A: Yes. We have a small amplifier and microphone available for the ceremony and light background music. Small-scale live musicians are also welcome by arrangement. We do not accommodate DJs or amplified dance parties.
Q: Will you be there on our wedding day?
Yes. Oasis Cottage is an owner-hosted venue, and we will be present throughout your celebration. We will welcome your suppliers and guests, oversee the agreed venue arrangements, help with the timing and respond to any venue or weather-related issues that arise. We do not provide full wedding planning or take responsibility for managing independently contracted suppliers.

A: Begin by contacting us with your proposed date, approximate guest numbers and preferred wedding option. We will arrange a private viewing and confirm availability. A 30% booking deposit secures the date, with full terms provided in the venue agreement.
